New space, thanks for helping tonight, additional help needed

by midwestpagestop...
Pages to Prisoners has signed a lease on a new space.   The new Pages space will be at 118 S Rodgers Suite #2.  This is the building at the corner of Rodgers and Fourth that also houses the Ryder Magazine.  We will be moving in on Monday.

Thanks to everyone who came and volunteered tonight.  Together, we were able to box up all the books on the shelves.  Things that still need to be done are:

* Unscrewing the shelves from the wall.
* Checking/sending outgoing packages
* Possibly modifying some shelves to fit the new space
* Boxing up things in the office
* Boxing up things in the closets
* Preparing tables/chairs for moving
* ???

Volunteers will be moving Boxcar Books this weekend.   There will be experienced Pages volunteers during some of these times to help finish up with Pages moving tasks, so if you can come in this weekend and help, please do.  Also, if you have the time, our partners at Boxcar could certainly use some help moving.

* Saturday, July 26 10am-2pm (ask for Mark to orient you)
* Sunday, July 27 11am-2pm (ask for Jen to orient you), 2-5pm (ask for Riley to orient you)

If you have any questions, please e-mail mwpp@pagestoprisoners.org

Take care,
Geoff
