The Community Justice & Mediation Center is pleased to announce a
unique professional development opportunity:

VICTIM-OFFENDER CONFERENCING TRAINING

July 27- 30, 2006, in Bloomington, Indiana.

- funded in part by a grant from the Victim-Offender Mediation
Association (www.voma.org )

- to be held in the IU Law School

Internationally renowned instructors Lorraine Stutzman Amstutz and Mark
Yantzi will train participants in the theory and practice of
restorative justice, focusing on such topics as

 a.. using restorative justice programs in the justice system

 b.. using restorative discipline in schools

 c.. understanding victim and offender issues

 d.. the process and benefits of mediation and conferencing
